Sean OConnor moved to New Zealand from the UK in 2004 with his family. 

Acting presented itself as a new passion to Sean in 2008 and he attended South Seas Film, TV and Acting School for a year in 2009, achieving a Diploma from their On-Screen Acting course. Part of the course was voice, under the expert tuition of Linda Cartwright who worked on the second and third Lord of the Rings films. 

Coupled with an extensive independent screen resume, including feature films 3 Mile Limit (2014); Vagabond (2019) and the soon to World Premiere, Buzz Cut (2021), Sean often finds himself in roles of authority, which is an attribute carried through to his eleven years of voice work.

Sean is currently providing the voice for Harmoney Finance in their social media and radio spots. He has also lent his voice to various informational and instructional videos and short films.

Character work has included Rainbowcorns (2018) released globally on YouTube and Sean has narrated several short films. 

The highlight of Sean's acting career so far: Best Actor Award at the 2020 Asia Webfest for 'Naughty Bits' in the Comedy Sketch genre. Sean was also nominated in the same category at Korea Webfest 2020, again for 'Naughty Bits'.
