Matthew Chicoine, professionally known as “Recloose,” originally hails from Detroit, Michigan and has been living in New Zealand since 2001. He is renowned the world over as a producer of soulful dance hits, an in-demand touring DJ, on-off bandleader and host of George FM’s top-rating “Hit It & amp; Quit It” radio show. In 2008 he took out a prestigious Tui at the Vodafone Music Awards for “Best Electronic Music Album” and since then has continued to make music, tour the world, and develop music-focussed educational curriculum at the Music and Audio Institute of New Zealand.
